This group is for Black/African American families to come together as a cultural community to support one another as parents/caregivers of children, youth, adults and individuals with Developmental Disabilities. Come talk to other parents who get it.
Some of the topics on our agenda:
- Sensory Processing Disorder & hair maintenance
- Overcoming Cultural biases and stigmas
- Parenting in public (overcoming behavior challenges & public opinions)
4th Thursday of each month from 7-8pm! Drop in and say hi!
