Online - P2P Community Connections Series: Power of Storytelling with Chanita Stone @ Zoom

ABOUT OUR SERIES

Join us as we start a monthly series devoted to highlighting parents, caregivers and self-advocates that are using their personal stories to positively impact other families in the community.

ABOUT OUR GUEST

Chanita is a devoted wife, proud mom of four, and an encourager of people. As a self-published children’s book author, Chanita’s heart and creativity shine through in her writing. Her debut book was inspired by her firstborn son. His unique experiences with disability and communication differences motivated Chanita to create a story that promotes representation and inclusivity, providing a valuable resource for young readers and families alike.

Chanita also serves as a Parent to Parent Coordinator with The Arc of King County. This role has been a deeply fulfilling journey for Chanita, allowing her to bridge her passion for encouraging others with her desire to foster a meaningful, supportive community. She takes
great pride in creating spaces where families like hers feel seen, heard, and empowered.
