ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP

Do you feel like you need more information regarding your student’s High School Transition and beyond Plans? This workshop is for you, as it will provide: Information: Resources: and training for students, parents, and professionals to prepare students for High School Transition.

This workshop will cover:

  • Preparing for High School Transition Meeting
  • Who can attend the meetings?
  • Advocacy
  • The importance of appropriate communication
  • How to address concerns and requests to the school team.

 

John Goebel will be our guest presenter for this workshop. He has been in Public Education for 35 years serving as: Special Education Teacher; Education Specialist; School Psychologist and Special Education Administrator.  He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education, a master’s Degree in Special Education and a Special Education Administration Credential. He is an Adjunct Professor at St. Martins University in Lacey, Washington from 1998 till present.  Mr. Goebel is a specialist for High School Transition to adulthood for students with disabilities.
