Highlighted Volunteer Opportunities:
Helpline Volunteer Position: Imagine it’s 3 am and you know something is just not “right” in your gut about someone you love? 24/7 anyone can submit a Helpline Request or place a phone call to our 800-Helpline (5-PARENT, ext. 15). The Helpline needs volunteers with compassionate listening skills, basic computer skills and who are dependable to confirm basic information. Being the first point of contact you will connect family members to programs of PAVE to address their concerns, obtain information, and make choices for their loved one.
Time commitment: 2-4 hours a week, open Monday-Thursdays.
General Office Help: Crunching numbers, looking at data, organizing information and/or researching resources or information. If you mildly like any of these, the programs of PAVE are in need of your skills. Information, data, research and resource allow us to help families and youth. You can enhance that support and impact their lives.
Time commitment: 2-10+ hours a week, a month or in a quarter; 7 days a week with reliable internet and/or Monday – Friday at the PAVE office on the TCC campus.
Annual Event Volunteer: Do you enjoy looking for things – goods, services, online shopping, dreaming of places to travel? Imagine asking those companies to donate their goods or services to benefit youth with disabilities so they can pursue their dreams and explore their future? Donate your time, at home, with your friends or in our office looking up information, emailing letters and securing donations for our October 19th Annual Event! It’s a lot of fun, can be done a few hours a week, on an afternoon with friends, neighbors co-workers or weekly in our office. Your amazing research, shopping skills deployed to secure donations that raise money for youth with disabilities! Rewarding and impactful for our mission and community.
Time commitment: Couple hours, weekly, daily, with friends; wherever you have reliable internet 7 days a week or 2 Monday-Friday in our office on the TCC Campus.
