F2FHIC Program Specialist Announcement

As an F2F Program Specialist will help children and youth with special healthcare needs, their families, and professionals who serve them.  The successful candidate will provide support and coordination of reporting, assure communication with community partners, web content for two program websites, and assist with marketing and outreach.  This includes research and writing articles and event registration, and coordination with the communications team and dissemination of information, resources, and services to constituents. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge or experience in website maintenance including adding and editing website content and navigation and website appearance. (No coding experience needed.)
  • Proven communication and proactive skills for working on a team, with community members, consultants, and funders. Preferably around reporting, assuring timely invoices, and program or project evaluations.
  • Knowledge, experience, or lived experience with individuals who experience a developmental disability and/or are neurodiverse.
  • Demonstrated experience in meeting and event support and coordination.
  • Effective use of Microsoft products and/or content management systems to perform job duties.
  • Self-knowledge re: how a flexible, hybrid work schedule supports you to be a reliable, responsive, productive, and contributing team member.

Minimum Requirements

  • Requires high school diploma or GED and one year of direct work experience in providing support, training, information, and resources.
  • Demonstrated work experience providing one-to-one customer service.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated data entry.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse economic, ethnic, and social backgrounds.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Pass a Background Check (DSHS/DDA Secretary’s List)
  • Proof of being up to date on both flu and COVID-19 vaccinations are required.  Individuals with medical issues or religious beliefs or practices that prevent them from getting the vaccine may request an exemption from the vaccine requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AA Degree and two or more years of providing customer service support, writing, and using technology in the disability community.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of information and resources as it relates to individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Experienced in data entry utilizing Salesforce; training is provided upon hiring.

Salary Range: $20-22/hour DOE for this part-time (20-hours/week) position with benefits.
