Hello, my name is Ricky Schreckenghost and I’m here to ask for your support in year-end giving for a non-profit organization called PAVE. PAVE is an organization that helps the disability Community with Education and Training in most cases specifically in the military and education systems which can be really hard to navigate.

PAVE is near and dear to my heart I’ve got a kiddo with disabilities he’s got spina bifida and from a young age from birth, PAVE has actually helped me like train me on how to raise a kid a raise have a baby that’s got disabilities which is really hard it’s really confusing and they helped make it happen and make me feel comfortable with it.

They’re really important to me and so much so I joined their board in 2020 and I’ve really got to peek behind the curtain to really understand the gosh the many programs that they manage to help this community. It’s, mind-blowing, but they can’t do it without our help they need help with funds to do several programs one that comes to mind is person-centered planning which is a program that helps the dis youth that youth that have disabilities plan for their future and that can mean a lot of different things but things from you know goal setting or figuring out how to be independent or a version of it or steps to getting there that’s what they help with that’s this specific program is is funded by donors so it’s really important but that’s just one little piece of the pie they just do so much so much more that this video doesn’t have enough time to explain.

What I would say is we need your help you know we really need your help whether it’s five dollars or five hundred dollars whatever you can afford to help this organization will be stretched and go a very long way they’ve got a very small staff and they are small and mighty but can do a lot with our dollars and it just it really helps this community. I can’t express that enough and right now up through December 31st we’ve got a special donor that is matching so that is really important so every dollar that you donate will be doubled.
